Established in 2000, Tainan City Traditional Orchestra is dedicated to the preservation and innovation of Taiwanese Chinese orchestral music. Performing primarily in small to medium-sized ensemble settings and through diverse concert formats, the orchestra is deeply rooted in local culture. It has long engaged with schools and communities to promote music education, while collaborating across disciplines such as theatre and dance to continuously expand the contemporary expression of Chinese orchestral music.
