Xiao Qiao Chen was born in Tainan in 1997, and she was graduated from TNNUA in Chinese music. She was major in erhu, and supervised by Professor Guang Xun Ou. Xiao Qiao Chen has received mentorship from master Zhen Yu Tsai, Xiao Mei Zheng, and Ming Kun Jiang. She was enlightened by master Bu Deng Guo. Xiao Qiao Chen’s sub-major was composing, and supervised by Yun Lu, and Pei Yi Li. Pipa and piano had been her sub-major as well. Xiao Qiao Chen had been the concert master of TNNUA Chinese Orchestra university group, and TNNUA Chinese String Orchestra, Gaohu musician of Taiwan Philharmonic Chinese Orchestra, and freelance musician of National Chinese Orchestra Taiwan. She is currently a huqin musician of Tainan City Traditional Orchestra and a member of Chi Feng Chamber Music.

     Xiao Qiao Chen has been receiving a holistic and solid basic music training since childhood. She had won the first place of the audition of TNNUA Star Musician while she was at university, and second place of National Chinese Orchestra Taiwan huqin new talent. In addition, she was the new talent of concerto audition of Chiuko Traditional Orchestra, “Audience Choice Award” of Taipei Chinese Orchestra International Composing Competition, and the first place of erhu solo performance in all sorts of national music competitions.
