Percussion Section Leader
Master of Music in Department of Chinese Music, Tainan National University of the Arts.
Born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Lin Zhi-Wen graduated from the music classes of Yancheng Elementary School and Xinxing Senior High School (Junior High Division) in Kaohsiung, and completed the Seven-Year Continuous Program in the Department of Chinese Music at Tainan National University of the Arts (TNUA). She studied Chinese percussion under Teacher Su Huang-Ren and traveled to Beijing for advanced studies under Professor Wang Jian-Hua and Professor Wang Yi-Dong. She studied Western percussion under Professor Shih Teh-Hua and Professor Wu Kuo-Hsuan.
She currently serves as a full-time percussionist and Section Leader of the Tainan City Chinese Orchestra, as well as a member of the Formosa Drum Ensemble. She also teaches percussion as an individual and section instructor at several elementary and junior high schools in Tainan.
