Erhu | Chia-Ying Lee

In 1999, they held the Erhu solo recital Nonsense & Erhu at the Taichung Teachers College Concert Hall, and was selected as a Hwa Kang Chinese Music Rising Star in the same year, performing a solo at the National Concert Hall. In July 2000, they were invited to perform as an Erhu soloist at international arts festivals in the Netherlands and Italy. In 2001, they toured Keelung and Taoyuan with the orchestra, performing the Huqin duet Journey through Mount Taihang.

In 2004, they performed the double Erhu concerto Fantasy on the Fairy Couple at the Tainan Cultural Center, and held the solo recital Same Bow, Different Strings at the Gueiren Cultural Center in October. In December of the same year, they were invited by I-Shou University to participate in an international musical exchange performance with the School of Music at Dakota Wesleyan University.

In 2017, they were invited to perform as a soloist and participate in cultural exchange at the Toyohashi Arts Festival in Japan. In 2018, invited by renowned Japanese Erhu master Kan Wang, they performed as a soloist at the Wang-Hu Gathering in Nagoya.

Currently serving as an instructor for music specialized classes and various music ensembles, they have guided numerous students to top honors in music competitions.
